Combining important factors such as affordability, lack of crime, disease, or mosquitoes.

These islands appear on the map as the most western Africa, near the middle of the Atlantic received during the months of winter / spring the big swells of the North Atlantic and during the Summer / Autumn the undulations of the South Atlantic by offering a consistent surf all year in a jagged coastline, full of reefs, point breaks and beaches of fine sand alternating between the colors of St. Vincent and the dark colors of Santo Antao.
These islands are in its east and west coasts that receive excellent peak ripple waves perpendicular to the coast offering long, some with much power coming from the great depths of the ocean and suddenly find these beaches to burst.

Many of the internationally renowned Spots are generally known, but most are secret spots where they gather ridden elusive, or deserted beaches where you learn to surf surrounded by peace and incredible natural beauty.

Summer is the holiday season and the swell of the South, and therefore ideal conditions for beginners to surf. In fact it is in summer the waves are smaller and smoother, so is the beach break waves that appear more surfáveis. In the islands of St. Living predominate beach breaks to the north and south, and is always a beach with ideal conditions for beginners and intermediate surfer. The crowd at this point is not a problem because we always have a beach outside the general knowledge and virtually exclusive to our classes for Beginner, Improvement and Techniques of Competition. The water temperature in these months is around 27 ° Celsius in the fact that a 3 / 2 or even a short enough for our surfed.

Is autumn the Atlantic Ocean wakes up and starts to send rows of waves originating sorted perfect day for the sport, to the delight of surfers who can not live without being in constant contact with the waves. The water temperature remains relatively warm, so a really short 2 / 2 is sufficient and most of the summer crowd is gone away.

In the winter conditions become more demanding, the wind blows harder and the waves often exceed 2-3 feet in places most exposed to the entrance of the waves. But it is here that St. Anthony and St. Vincent make a difference compared to other surf destinations throughout Europe.
Due to the peculiar cut of the coast of the islands, with several bays and sheltered places, it is always possible to find a spot where you can surf wave surfing more accessible. While this season in Spain, France or the UK water temperature is around the 8 / 10 degrees Celsius, Cabo Verde water temperature never fall in 23 Celsius so a really short 3 / 2 mm is sufficient, possibly some boots protect the less experienced of sea urchins. The best thing is that the crowds are nonexistent or very low throughout the year and so there will always be plenty of space in the line up.

With spring temperatures begin to rise and the intensity of the swell remains but now with less size and originating from storms in the middle of the Atlantic. At this time the winds may blow in different directions on the same day. Here it is essential local knowledge to surf the right time at right place. We can easily catch magic waves.
