Peaks with little crowd, no sharks and good infrastructure, make Morocco an unforgettable trip and an obligatory stop for surfers on duty.

Waves 02-12 feet

When: October to April

Located in northern Africa, Morocco has around 28 million people, mostly Muslims fundamentalists what makes Morocco a safe place to travel.

A country that gained independence in 1956, after passing through the hands of Spanish and French. Arabic, French, Spanish and Berber, are the most spoken languages in the country.

The best season for surfing is from October to April, when the region receives all the swells coming from the North Atlantic, but without receiving the cold currents that plague Europe in this period. This is the ideal time to surf some of the best right point breaks in the world.


The surf is concentrated mainly in the region around Tarhazoute (50min Agadir), where many point and beach breaks are easily found.


Waves 02-12 feet

When: October to April.

Killer Point: Point break right. Killers are the most consistent wave Tarhazoute, receiving swells from all directions. With a swell of good size, the wave can reach 400m in length.


Mysteries: Point break right. Dug a wave that works best with a medium to swell with the tide filling.


Anka Point: Point break right. The most famous wave of Morocco. But needs a good swell with ideal size to get, the bigger the swell the longer the wavelength and thus less crowd focuses on the air drop. Begins to break starting at 1 meter.


Banana Beach: Beack break. A beach break south of the village of Tamrhakht, breaks between 1m and 2m, begins to close at low tide and large swell.

Devil's Rock: Beach break. One of the few places where you can surf left a high quality, 2km south of Banana Village is worth checking from time to time.


La Source: Point break right. This wave is the inside of Mysteries and is a great option for those days small, medium and better with swells rising tide.
